Summary

The site of a barrow, marked on old maps as Money Hill. Nothing can be seen today, but Roman coins, brooch fragments and a terminal were found on the site in the 19th century. Bronze Age barrows were often reused for burials in the Roman period.

Field whose name was marked on the Ordnance Survey is in fact perfectly flat, and no higher than surrounding fields. Does this suggest a removed barrow?
