Pre 21 October 1988. Stray Find.
Found in back garden by owner [1]:
3 Late Saxon pottery sherds (Thetford-type ware).
Identified by W. Milligan (NCM), see notes in file [2].
P. Watkins (HES), 8 August 2016.
February 1993. Metal detecting.
Late Saxon, possibly Viking influenced, ?key handle terminal.
Late Saxon openwork handle or buckle/hasp fragment.
Identified by S. Margeson (NCM)

Early 1999. Found in garden by [1].
Identified by A. Rogerson:
Roman greyware base sherd.
Probable Roman body sherd, possibly colour-coated ware.
Medieval unglazed ware body sherd, 11th-15th century.
Late medieval body sherd (Late medieval/Transitional) 15th-16th century.

Before 26 July 2001. Found in garden.

2001-2003. Found in a very restricted area in garden, in and around a seam of mollusca.
Pottery sherds:
Thetford type: three jar, two bowl, one storage jar rims, nine body - including one with diamond roullete.
Medieval unglazed: one wide flanged bowl rim (probably Grimston) and nine bodysherds.
Nine glazed Grimston including odd strap handle with frilled edges and jar with external glaze.
One Late medieval/early post medieval Raeren stoneware frilled base.
Seven fragment opaque laminating window glass, medieval.
