Summary

This timber framed house with three-cell entrance lobby dates to the early 17th century. It has undergone numerous later alterations in cluding the addition of a brick façade in 1830 and a new roof and staircase in 1921. The most salient feature is the rear wing which is at an unusual angle and consists of a 19th century brick section set between two earlier brick sections, which raisies the possibility of a timber frame once being here too.
