Summary

A late 17th century two storey brick farmhouse with later additions. The house is associated with a variety of 19th century farm buildings, described under NHER 51067.

August 1984.
(S2) describes the house as late 17th century and later, with English bond brick in the oldest parts. 'L' Plan with an early double pile west addition. Two storeys and five-bay south façade with 19th century windows. The building features a 19th century central two storeyed porch, a curved gable, and windows and door with hoodmoulds and varying stops. All of the curved gables are 19th century except that facing north, which has two platbands, the lower moulded. It has a gable end and off centre stacks, with later stacks to rear.

A brief visit confirms the general details given for the farmhouse, though a thick coat of paint obscures dateable evidence.
