Summary

Remarkably elaborate timber framed house, which may have once had a service bay, though this is now demolished. This building is probably a late 16th century two storeyed house, but there is some suggestion that an older building may have been incorporated, or timbers reused. There are the remains of a very ornate brick fireplace in the off centre chimneystack, and a fragment of barn, also 16th century.
