Summary

In 1994 two pieces of medieval stone carving were found lying against a barn built around 1800 on the former site of Tunns Alehouse. The stone may come from one of the Warham churches or Binham Priory.

26 January 1994. Found leaning against southwest corner of barn dating to around 1800 - former site of Tunns Alehouse.
Large fragment of stone carving. Resembles attached colonette but very large and loboid, 75cm (2 feet 6 inches) across and 30cm (1 foot) thick. Stands on top of second fragment, rectangular but mostly invisible under turf. Possibly derives from one of the Warham churches but may come from Binham Priory.
