Full Description
May-August 1992. Fieldwalking and Metal-Detecting Survey and Watching Brief.
Fieldwork carried out along route of Yelverton to East Carleton Gas Pipeline (Survey Blocks 62-66).
Finds recovered during initial survey include:
1 Roman pottery sherd.
4 medieval brick/tile fragments and glass.
10 post-medieval pottery sherds and 41 brick/tile fragments.
No archaeologically significant features or deposits identified during subsequent Watching Brief undertaken during topsoil stripping and excavation of pipe trench.

The finds have been deposited with the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1995.75).
