1993. Metal detector find.
Roman mount, rectangular, slot in centre, decorated with ring and dot and pairs of transverse lines.
Identified by S. Margeson (NCM) 1993.

1995. Metal detector finds.
At location [1]. Enamelled Roman bronze stud.
At location [2]. Late medieval circular seal matrix with suspension loop and faceted handle. Crowned R flanked by foliage.

Roman circular spoon bowl and fragment of handle, silvering/tinning on surface. Inner concentric groove just below rim.

Roman mount in form of leaf or elongated heart, with deep median groove. Two integral flat circular headed studs on reverse (which is concave).

See for comparison Winchester 11th/14th century bronze key, small, with white metal coating. Lozenge shaped bow with corner projections, circular internally. Moulding at junction of bow and stem. Hollow stem-tip. Bit broken off, but appears to have been separately applied. Probably from a box.
