Summary

Metal-detecting between 1993 and 2015 recovered prehistoric worked flint; medieval pottery sherds; medieval and post-medieval coins; medieval to post-medieval jettons and undatable, Bronze Age, Roman and Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include undatable casting waste; part of a Late Bronze Age socketed axe; a Roman brooch; a Late Saxon disc brooch; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories and thimbles; a medieval furniture/harness mount and stud ; a medieval/post-medieval copper alloy hook from a casket and copper alloy ring and post-medieval crotal bells, a book clasp, finger ring, toy musket, finger ring, ferrule and end-cap from a scale-tang knife.
