Summary
A 14th century seal matrix with a design of a falcon or hawk preying on duck and inscribed ALAS IE SV PRIS (alas I am taken) was found by metal detecting at this spot. In addition, two silver coins of Elizabeth I were found.

Full Description
15 January 1994. Metal detecting.
14th century seal matrix found 90 cm (3 foot) below surface due to erosion. Falcon or hawk preying on duck. ALAS IE SV PRIS (alas I am taken).
