Summary

A stray find of a Roman coin was made in 1955 while metal-detecting between 2009 and 2013 recovered post-medieval coins and medieval jettons as well as medieval and post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a medieval buckle, figurine and end-cap from a scale tang knife and post-medieval buckles and a copper alloy trade weight.

A silver denarius of Trajan was found about 0.4km (1/4 mile) south south east of the Rectory.
