A common type 22 hexagonal concrete pillbox. Dating to about 1940, it was part of a network of anti-invasion defences of the time.

In south hedge of road almost opposite Jordan Green Farm.
Pillbox. Concrete, polygonal.
Seen only briefly in passing, May 1994.
