THE CROPMARKS DESCRIBED BELOW ARE NOW RECORDED AS NHER 45104.
31 July 1990. Ordnance Survey air photography.
Cropmarks noted by B.Cushion (NLA) and shown to E.Rose May (NLA) 1994.
Cropmarks of various dark linear features, some forming incomplete rectangles.
NB. The words 'camping site' on 1:10,000 Ordnance Survey really refer to the adjacent field and not this site.

1994. Metal detecting.
Silver circular seal matrix, 15th century, with 5-petalled flower, and very neat legend: SIGILLVM CHRISTINE DE WATTONE. Facetted handle with collar and trefoil terminal, through which is attached a suspension loop. 15cm (6 inches) deep.
