Summary

Nos 12A and 12B form Anchor House, now converted into offices. The building dates to the 16th century, although it was almost totally rebuilt in the early 19th century. There is a rear cross wing.

Listing Description excerpt:
"House, now offices. Late 16th century, virtually all rebuilt early 19th century. Colourwashed brick with slate roof. Two storeys in five bays. Central round-arched doorway with elaborate doorcase and hood...Timber eaves cornice on cranked consoles. Gabled roof with internal gable-end stacks. Rear cross wing.
INTERIOR. Plain. Stick baluster staircase with ramped and wreathed handrail. Cross wing roof with two tiers butt purlins, curved windbraces and chamfered collars."
