February 1995. Field Observation.
Interior ground floor briefly seen by E. Rose (NLA).
The knuckle braces mentioned above seem to refer to a pair of carved brackets supporting the bridging beam in the front room. The rear room was confirmed as having a castellated and rollmoulded early 16th century beam. There is also a cellar apparently below the front but entered from the rear room; its interior was not seen.
