Summary

Vicar Street House was built around 1740, of brick with fve bays. This two storey building has an attic and a central Doric doorcase, as well as sash windows with late 18th century details. Inside there is a cellar with nine wine bins, as well as some original doors and an early 19th century staircase.

Listing Description excerpt:
"House of 1740, brick. Five bays, two storeys and attic. Central Doric doorcase with open pediment. Sash windows with flat arches are later 18th century; dormers have 19th-century sashes. Cross wing to rear. Stacks to north and at wing junctions. Interior has cellar with nine wine bins. Original doors and early 19th-century staircase. South ground floor room has panelling; bridging beam and cornice with running scroll decoration in plaster; bolection moulded chimneypiece."
