Summary

An earthwork survey recorded a series of rectilinear features, a square enclosure and an area of irregular platforms and banks. Within these platforms flint masonry fragments indicate the remains of a probable medieval structure. This may be a gateway entry to the medieval site at Berry Hall (NHER 11951). Fragments of medieval pottery were recovered.
