Summary

In 1994 a number of Mesolithic flint flakes, blades, spalls, and retouched backed blades were recovered from gravel collected from a pit on Swanton Morley airfield.

July 1994. Casual find.
Several Mesolithic flint flakes, blades, spalls, and retouched backed blades were found in load of gravel delivered to a house in Beetley. The gravel was collected from Roostinghill stockpile. Barker Bros confirmed that the material came from the pit on Swanton Morley airfield.
Location of working at this time supplied by Norfolk County Council.
