Summary

This 18th century house has a cross-shaped plan with a stair turret in antiquated style. The rear wing is timber framed and was probably built in the 17th century as a separate detached kitchen for an older house on the same site.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Farmhouse. 18th century but with earlier core. Colourwashed brick, roof of smut and black glazed pantiles. Two storeys and attics with 1 1/2 storey wing to rear; L-shaped plan. Asymmetrical facade to south with off centre gabled stair turret opposite large axial red brick chimney stack."
