Summary

This late 18th or early 19th century red brick field barn used to have a thatched roof but it has been replaced with corrugated iron. The building is T shaped and has crowstepped east and west gables. The west gable contains a large window with a pointed arch head and intersecting tracery.

October 1987. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description Excerpt:
"Brick Barn.
Field barn, late 18th to early 19th century. Red brick, roof formerly thatched now corrugated iron. T plan. Crowstepped east and west gables with moulded eaves corbels. West gable faces Gillingham Hall and contains large blind five light window with pointed arch head and intersecting tracery."
