Summary

The Elms includes a house with 17th century, late 18th century and 19th century brickwork. Associated is a magnificent barn of brick with an original roof, dated to 1634 and containing a possible living quarters or workshop at one end. Also nearby is an interesting 19th century aisled cattle building. A nearby feature may be a moat, but is more likely to be a tanning pond.
