Full Description
Reused medieval stonework, almost certainly from the priory but possibly including some from the castle in boundary wall projecting from northeast corner of building in Bailey Street.
Wall apparently rebuilt in the 20th century.
House itself has quoins of early, perhaps medieval brick on Pales Green frontage (since extended) and traces of blocked openings, but all remainder of exterior is of very late date.
E. Rose (NLA) 9 November 1994.
