Summary

Metal detecting and evaluation trenching was conducted here in 1994 in advance of a housing development. Several undated pits were discovered along with a larger pit, which may have been a post medieval saw pit. Finds recovered included a sherd of Early Saxon pottery, a 16th century Nuremburg jetton and sherds of post medieval pottery.
