Summary

Metal-detecting between 1994 and 2023 recovered Late Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; medieval and post-medieval jettons; post-medieval tokens and a range of other, Bronze Age to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Middle/Late Bronze Age gold penannular ring; a potentially Bronze Age copper alloy ring; a Roman brooch and belt fitting; a Middle/Late Saxon strap end; a Late Saxon stirrup mount; a Late Saxon/medieval iron buckle; a Late Saxon to post-medieval lead spindle whorl; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories (including a fine post-medieval enamelled strap end); a medieval harness stud, harness pendant, harness strap distributor, rotary key, purse bar, hooked drape ring, mount, thimble, arm from folding balance and copper alloy seal matrix; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragments, a silver toilet article and lead weights and post-medieval possible sword-belt fittings, coin weights, a book clasp, copper alloy cup weight and lead sack seal.
