Summary

This 17th century timber framed three cell building began life as a house, and retains good parlour fireplaces. There is an attic above the parlour, and there have been carious extensions. The north (service) cell was rebuilt in 1762 when the attic was extended, and a new facade was added in the mid 20th century.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"17th century building. Plastered timber-frame with modern brick front. Steep pantile roof with gabled ends with 19th century shaped barge boards. Brick chimney stack off centre. Two storeys and attic (small attic casement with leaded panes in south gable end). Three widely spaced windows. Modern 3-light metal-frame casements."
