Full Description
June 1958.
Worn brass coin of Faustina II found in neighbourhood of farm buildings.
Seen by R. R. Clarke (NCM), 1959.
March 1977. Visit.
Farmhouse is a fine building, probably 16th century though owner claims it is 14th century. Traces of moat.

25 January 1978. Visit.
The house has a Georgian façade of three bays and three storeys with Classical doorway. Only evidence on exterior of older work is fossil gable on west side and perhaps in adjoining outbuilding.
(S1) 1983 gives fossil gable as 17th century, rest is 18th century

Eastern arm waterfilled about 2.5m deep, up to 3m wide, widening into pond. South arm a slight depression under grass.
