Summary

Metal detecting recovered part of the rim of a Roman greyware pot, a Roman 1st century AD Dolphin brooch and an incomplete Neolithic polished flint axehead.

Roman greyware, bead and flange bowl rim (fresh sherd).
Identified by A. Rogerson (NLA).
Roman Dolphin type brooch with spring mechanism. Tinning surviving on wings. 1st century AD.
Identified by J. Davies (NCM).
Incomplete polished flint axe. Blade end, truncated by old transverse hinge fracture. Pale grey flint with deep brown stained patina, minor recent damage at the blade edge. Polish extends over whole blade area and up body on one face; edges polished to give slightly rounded facets. See (S1).
