Summary

Metal detecting here in 1995 recovered a Middle Saxon to Late Saxon hinge-plate with possible Borre style decoration. Further metal-detecting in 2009 recovered medieval and post-medieval coins and a post-medieval token and jetton, as well as medieval and post-medieval metal objects including a medieval brooch, medieval/post-medieval trade weight and vessel leg fragments and post-medieval coin weights. A geophysical survey undertaken in 2012/2013 identified no clear evidence for archaeologically significant remains in this area.

A post-medieval hooked tag, two buckles, two coin weights, two buttons and a copper alloy mount.
