The probable Late Saxon silver ingot, medieval silver pilgrim badge and the post-medieval silver head-dress pin were all submitted as potential Treasure (Refs: 2020 T686, 2020 T513 and 2020 T507 respectively). The medieval badge and the post-medieval pin were both disclaimed as Treasure and returned to the finder.
The post-medieval silver ring did not constitute potential Treasure as it cannot be shown to be more than 300 years old (being associated with a likely date range of c.1630 to c.1780).
Site extended to the whole field. Previous extent recorded as Context 1.
E. McDonald (HES), 3 August 2020 and P. Watkins (HES), 1 December 2020 and 17 September 2023.
