Summary

Metal detecting at this site from 1994-2004 recovered a collection of artefacts dating from prehistory to the post medieval period. A prehistoric flint borer and retouched flake were found along with a post medieval lead bale seal and buckle as well as a medieval seal matrix and pendant weight.

March 2002. Surface find.
?Borer/retouched utilised flake:
Secondary flake with huge fracture at distal edge, reduced by retouched noth on right side and a small removal on the left. Possible use as a reamer, the blunt end precludes a borer use. Both lateral edges worn.
Retouched flake:
Small secondary flake, with retouch on right distal edge.
Both undatable prehistoric.
