Summary

Metal-detecting and fieldwalking between 1995 and 2017 recovered medieval pottery sherds; Late Saxon and medieval coins and a number of other, Roman and Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Roman bell and possible vessel handle; a Late Saxon/medieval stirrup-strap mount; a medieval annular brooch and strap end and a medieval/post-medieval purse fragment and knife end cap.
