Map

13 July 1990. NAU aerial photography.
Rectangular enclosure projecting south-east from existing peculiar rectangular area of scrub. It is bisected by recently removed field boundaries that are at least 19th century date, and thus predates them.
D. Edwards and E. Rose (NLA), 7 August 1995.

Though it is hard to judge on the ground this site appears to have been planted over the trees to form Long's Wood, for which permission was given before the site was added to the NHER.
E. Rose (NLA), 5 October 1998.
