Full Description
1995. Metal detector finds. [1].
Middle Saxon strap end, top part broken off. Animal head terminal. Rectangular field above animal - head now empty. Edges are scalloped.
Medieval strap end plate or buckle plate fragment with three longitudinal bands with incised diagonal lines in centre, and chevrons in outer two (?chevrons may be part of a rudimentary inscription).
