Summary

Metal detecting in 1995 recovered a 14th or 15th century harness pendant. It is gilded, highly decorated and features four projecting trefoils, three flowers in the centre and a lobe that may have held another pendant.

November 1995. Metal detecting.
Lovely 14th/15th century gilded harness pendant, with four projecting trefoils, a suspension loop with moulded leaf on each side, and, opposite at base, a pierced projecting lobe, perhaps for another pendant. In centre in low relief three flowers on stalks springing from a transverse band.
