Summary

This is the site of a rectangular medieval moated site, visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs. A pair of Middle Saxon tweezers, a Late Saxon brooch, and a medieval coin, buckle, and strap fitting, and post medieval metalwork have been found at this site by metal detecting.

1946. RAF air photographs show large subrectangular moat with north west causeway.
Further earthwork platforms to the north west. 1970s OS air photographs show whole site ploughed out, with moat visible as cropmark.
