Full Description
April 1996. Metak detector find.
Medieval folding clasp (part of), see (S1). Broken rectangular frame. Outer edge has animal-head (?lion), with rounded ears, engraved lines over forehead (mane), lentoid eyes with drilled iris, wedge-shaped muzzle and engraved lines on the 'cheeks'. Probably 13th century.
