Summary

Metal detecting in 1995 recovered a medieval penny of Edward I as well as a 14th century harness pendant decorated with the Arms of Winchelsea.

Medieval harness pendant 14th century. Quatrefoil blazon: Gules, three lions passant guardant or (England) dimidiating, azure three hulls of ships in pale or (gold). Arms of Winchelsea (cinque port).
