Cropmarks of double and single ring ditches of Bronze Age date are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S3). Linear ditch and enclosure cropmarks previously recorded under this HER number are now recorded separately as NHER 49400. The central grid reference for these cropmarks has been amended to TG 4166 0580. The double ring ditch has a 2m wide slightly sub-circular outer ditch with an external diameter of 28m. The western side of this ditch lies adjacent to the edge of the field and is not clearly visible as a cropmark. The narrow inner ditch is circular in plan with a diameter of 20m. Located 45m to the north is a cropmark of a single ring ditch. This ring ditch has a circular plan with a narrow ditch and an external diameter of 16m. It is likely that both of these ring ditches are of Bronze Age date and that they relate to round barrows. Two more Bronze Age ring ditch cropmarks are located 270m to the north-west (NHER 21819).
