Full Description
August/September 1996. Found while metal detecting.
Roman greyware: two jar rims, one base, twelve body sherds (one rusticated).
One body sherd coarse Roman oxidised.
One body sherd Roman oxidised, probably once red-slipped, rouletted decoration.
Large sherd Grimston Glazed jug rim with robust twisted handle.

Part of Late Neolithic stone axehead.
Roman pottery (large sherds) and roofing tile.
Medieval pot mend.
Iron slag and undatable hone.
