February 1996. Fieldwalking and metal detecting.
Dolphin brooch. Rear hook type. Spring, pin and foot/catchplate missing. Grooved wings and bow. Mid 1st century AD.
Six sherds Roman pottery: four fine grey body sherds, slightly micaceous, one oxidised body sherd, one flake samian.
