Summary

This field surrounds the Priory Farm site (NHER 25832), which lies to the south, and was the area of a priory during the medieval period. Aerial photographs from 1990 recorded cropmarks of a trackway and contemporary strip fields. Observation during the construction of new farm buildings also noted ditches, probably from the late post medieval period, which contained medieval pottery sherds, architectural fragments and bone.
