June 1998. Metal detecting.
14th century silver cross shaped pendant.
See description on Treasure Form, copy in file.
A. Rogerson, (NLA) 19 April 2000.

It should be noted that the cross-shaped pendant listed as having been found here in June 1998 is almost certainly the same object as one previously recorded as having been recovered around the same time approximately 250m to the west (as NHER 34830). We know from the recorded inscription that the latter is definitely an object submitted and subsequently disclaimed as Treasure. As there is no evidence of a second Treasure case it must be assumed that only one pendant was found [3].
P. Watkins (HES), 10 April 2020.
