Summary

This brick kiln, thought to date to the 1860s, is still surviving, although it is now used for pheasants. It forms part of a number of small brick kilns situated on this former common area, and used by individual families.

Source [2] states kiln still present but much ruined. No trace of date plaque now. Full of domestic rubbish; small clearance revealed the firing chamber below the kiln and the ends of the heating tunnels.
No disturbance planned but rubbish may be cleared.
