February 1997. Metal detecting.
Medieval copper alloy seal matrix, pointed oval, median rib ending in (broken) suspension loop on reverse.
Bird displaying one wing, head to sinister. Very nicely cut.
+ CREDEM MICHI, meaning 'A trust for me', with the colloquial meaning of a 'guide book through life etc.'
