Map

Moat suggested by R. R. Clarke (NCM), though site not visited by him. Medieval sherds found here 1936 by [1].

June 1977. Visit.
This seems very doubtful for a moat. Arms are very narrow, and though deep the western is part of a stream that is equally deep all along its length. Suggest possibly a ditched wood.
E. Rose (NAU), 2 June 1977.

17 March 1988.
'Many' medieval sherds over surface.
Finds not seen NAU.
E. Rose (NAU), 18 March 1988.
