Full Description
January 1946. Nordelph Corner.
RAF air photograph shows a series of rectangular enclosures with some subdivision with what appears to be a ditched
causeway for north and west sides. Some more recent drains cut through site, whilst the eastern limits and part of southern limits are unclear.
Probable medieval enclosures associated with nearby farmstead, but unusually regular.
16 September 1997.
Visit confirmed site is now arable.
B. Cushion (NLA) 16 September 1997.
