Full Description
Large house said to have documentary evidence as a manorial site.
Present building consists of 19th century block partly incorporating a 17th century cross wing, and a subsidiary wing with bricks of around 1600 yet containing ceilings appearing to date around 1520 - but probably reassembled.
Sickle blade found in stack; 18th/19th century pottery used to infill 19th century cellar.
Garden walls of 18th century altered 19th century. 18th and 19th century outbuildings.
Very many fragments of reused stone in curtilage, presumably from church, mostly 14th century, some perhaps 17th century tomb fragments.
