Summary

Metal detecting and fieldwalking recovered Roman pottery and three Roman brooches, a late Saxon bridle cheekpiece and a medieval or post medieval swivel, perhaps from a dog lead. Two copper alloy Late Iron Age coins were also recovered and thirty-one Roman coins. A possible Neolithic stone axe has also been found at the site.
