1997. Found while digging drains, in disturbed ground.
Unlooped palstave with indented shield below stop ridge, butt corroded, slighlty convex flanges, bevelled splayed blade, the edge of which is corroded.
Length: 132mm, blade width: 50mm, weight: 320.74g.
Identified A.West (NCM) 16 December 1997.
