Full Description
Facade and south wall of Workers' Club all rendered with no appearance of antiquity. However, at the southwest corner are quoins of large limestone blocks laid in long and short fashion. Rear wall into Linay's Yard of old red brick without skintlings laid in English bond, some pantiles inserted for levelling. A small projection, now engulfed by the rear wing, contains many more stone blocks and may have been a stack. The walling of the wing above seems 19th century brick.
E. Rose (NLA), 29 January 1998.
